I don't know if I actually like being in school, but there's nothing else I'm good at.
Today I read some of Tom Wolfe's stories and wrote a note at the end of his book asking for his advice as to whether I should major in English or American Studies or both. I figure he should know what's best.
The honors program is a cleverly wrapped ball of lies...the only thing you do differently from the average kids is read more and register early and you have to graduate with more credits. No positive feedback about it except from the advisers in the program and the suckers who went on the grad school after Toledo and thought being in honors helped them "interact with others". Shouldn't just being an adult teach you how to interact with people?
And then I realized that I'm a week into school and I don't know shit and I should shut up.
I am the worst.
Also no one I've met at Toledo thinks I'm happy but I think I'm happy. They think I'm funny.

nothing like listening to the lions rampant in your dorm living room (undecorated save a UC bearcats foam claw and a bowl of dum dums--YOU'RE WELCOME ROOMATES), while your suitemate talks korean in her room.
